The EuroMTS New EU index (EMTXn) measures the performance of the euro-denominated government bond issues of the new European Union member states. The EuroMTS New EU index includes all euro-denominated government bonds quoted on the New EuroMTS trading platform with more than €1 billion outstanding and at least 15 months to maturity.

Based on real time tradable prices from the New EuroMTS trading platform, the indices are the first indices calculated in real time based on the EuroMTS index methodology. These indices are completely transparent with all information necessary to replicate the indices freely available on the website.

The EMTXn index is calculated in real time along with two daily fixings (at 11:00 and 16:00 CET) and is designed as an investment benchmark as well as an underlying index for a variety of financial products such as exchange traded funds, OTC derivatives and index funds.
